Author Bio
KATHLEEN MURPHY, Ph.D.- Dr. Kathleen Murphy has served on the NASW Committee on Inquiry in Illinois since 1985 and is a recent Past Chair.  She received her Ph.D. in Social Work from the University of Illinois, Jane Addams School of Social Work, in 1988 and is on the faculty of the Institute for Clinical Social Work, as well as being a visiting lecturer for Loyola University School of Social Work.  In addition to her private practice and her workshops on Ethical Issues, she has published on the topics of homecare with families, and addictions.  Recently she presented the keynote address for the Annual Meeting of Thanatos Society.
