BARTON BERNSTEIN, J.D., M.S.W. - Barton E. Bernstein is a lawyer and a licensed Master Social Worker.  He is co-author of, The Portable Lawyer for Mental Health Professional, and, The Portable Ethicist for Mental Health Professionals, both published by John Wylie & Sons.  During the past five years he has participated in seven educational videos, has authored or co-authored over seventy-five articles and book chapters and has delivered over one hundred professional lectures.  He has served on the faculties of Texas Women’s University, Southern Methodist University, and the University of Dallas at the Irvine Campus.  He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Psychiatry, and the University of Texas at Arlington’s Graduate School of Social Work.
