Author Bio
FRAN STOTT, Ph.D. -
Dr. Fran Stott is the Barbara T. Bowman Professor of Child Development at Erikson Institute—a graduate school in Child Development. She has been a member of the faculty since 1979. She founded and directed Erikson’s Infant Studies Program in 1984, its doctoral program in 1986, and was Vice President and Dean of Academic Programs for 14 years. A clinical and developmental psychologist, Dr. Stott currently is focusing her teaching and research on parent-child relationships and social-emotional development through the life span.
