Author Bio
MARLENE WATSON, Ph.D. - Marlene Watson is the director of the graduate program in Marriage and Family Therapy at the Hahnemann University in Philadelphia. She is the former assistance director of clinical training at the Marriage Council of Philadelphia.  Dr. Watson received her doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Virginia Tech University. She is Licensed Couples and Family Therapist and an approved supervisor for the Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. She has an independent clinical practice in Philadelphia and is an active voice for the inclusion of race, class, gender, ethnicity and culture in both training and practice.
