Mark Gehrie, Ph.D. Dr. Mark Gehrie is on the faculty and is a training and supervising analyst at the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis. His book on impasses, co-authored with Dr. John Gedo, is entitled Impasse and Innovation in Psychoanalysis: Clinical Case Seminars. Dr. Gehrie is in private practice in Chicago.
