Today at the NAMI Mississippi Annual Conference, Wendy Bailey, Executive Director of the Mississippi Department of Mental Health, officially unveiled the Mississippi Network of Care, a new statewide digital platform designed to improve access to behavioral health and community resources across Mississippi.
The platform, now live at www.MississippiCares.AI, creates a more connected, user-friendly way for residents, families, providers, and community leaders to find services and support in all 82 counties.
Built as a statewide “no wrong door” system for behavioral health, the Mississippi Network of Care brings together trusted information, service directories, local resources, wellness tools, and AI-powered navigation in one place. The initiative also includes 10 regional Network of Care sites aligned with Mississippi’s Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs), helping ensure local programs, events, and provider resources remain visible and accessible within a shared statewide system.
Key features include:
•
Continually up-to-date service directories for mental health, substance use, disability, and related community resources across every county
•
An AI Navigator to help users identify relevant services based on their needs
•
Evidence-based self-assessments and wellness and recovery tools, including WRAP resources
•
Regional sites that highlight local events, announcements, and provider information while staying connected to the statewide platform

As Wendy Bailey shared:
“More and more, people are willing to talk about their mental health and are ready to seek help. But many still do not know where to start or where to turn. That’s why we’re so pleased to bring Network of Care to Mississippi. It offers one place where individuals and families can find mental health services and other essential community resources.”
This launch represents an important step forward in modernizing access to care while strengthening coordination between state leadership, providers, and local communities.
Founded more than 25 years ago, the Network of Care serves as digital infrastructure for behavioral health, social services, and community support systems in more than 20 states.
We’re proud to support this work in Mississippi and would be glad to share more about the model with any interested organizations.
