The purpose of this module is to discuss the use of a Solution-Focused model of brief treatment with difficult adolescents.
Course Objective
This program provides clinicians with the opportunity to learn about:

Use of the Solution-Focused model with difficult adolescents
The task of treating adolescents
The Solution Focused mode as a powerful method for facilitating systematic change

Intended Audience
Nurses, Psychologists, Social Workers, Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, Addiction Therapists 
Author Bio
MATTHEW SELEKMAN, LCSW Mathew Selekman, LCSW, is coordinator of training with MCC Behavioral Care Inc. in Rosemont, Illinois. He holds an adjunct faculty position in the marriage and family therapy program of Northern Illinois University and is a lecturer and clinical associate for the school of social service administration at the University of Chicago. Mr. Selekman also has a private practice specializing in brief treatment with adolescents and adults. He is the author of Family Therapy Approaches with Adolescents Substance Abusers and Pathways to Change: Brief Therapy Solutions with Difficult Adolescents. He is also an approved supervisor for the Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.
