Author Bio
KENDALL MARLOWE, M.A. - Kendall Marlow joined the Illinois Department's Division of Service Intervention in 2005, after serving three years as the Director of Development for Sullivan House child welfare agency. Much of his work in Service Intervention focused on projects related to older youth initiatives. He earned his master’s degree in 2006 as an honors student at the University of Chicago’s School of Social Service Administration, where he received the Walker Honor Award, and is currently an Honorary ChildLaw Fellow at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Mr. Marlowe also understands this field on a more personal level: he grew up with six foster siblings and is himself a foster and adoptive parent.
