This module presents thoughts on dissociative disorders and multiple personality disorders in children. 
Course Objective
This program provides clinicians with the opportunity to learn about:
The frequency of dissociative disorders in children
What is the Criteria: To differentiate between a child with a dissociative disorder and attention deficit disorder and a child who is hearing voices as schizophrenic as opposed to multiple personality disorder? 
Issues of physical contact with children in treatment

Author Bio
NANCY HORNSTEIN, M.D. Nancy Hornstein, M.D. specializes in work with dissociative disorders in adults and children.  She is Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at UCLA and is on the staff of Cedar Sinai Hospital & Medical Center.  She was the director of the children’s unit at UCLA’s NeuroPsychiatric Institute where the majority of her research was done.  She has lectured and published extensively on children with dissociative disorders and all aspects of dissociative disorders as they occur in adults and children.
